Susan “Susie” Lovina (Wagler) Knepp, 86, of Montgomery entered into rest peacefully surrounded by loved ones at 9:50 pm, December 25, 2016 at her home.
She was born in Daviess County, Indiana on November 26, 1930 to the late John J and Lovina (Graber) Wagler.
Susie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married on January 22, 1950 to Enos ‘Peanut’ Knepp, who preceded her in death on January 28, 1998.
Susie was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Wilmer Ray (Lovina) Graber; 8 brothers, John Henry, Joseph, Francis, Levi, Benjamin, Harry J, Arthur, and Alva Enos Wagler; 1 sister, Martha Miller.
She is survived by 5 sons, Ira (Sara) Knepp of Loogootee, John Elmer Knepp of Cannelburg, Joseph (Amanda) Knepp of Odon, Leroy (Rachel) Knepp and Jacob (Betty Jean) Knepp, both of Montgomery; 3 daughters Martha (David) King of New Holland, PA, Lovina (Crist) Miller of Cannelburg and Mary Sue (Samuel) Graber of Odon; 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Homer-Deceased) Knepp of Montgomery and sister-in-law, Fannie (Alva-Deceased) Wagler of Milroy, IN.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Produce Building. Burial will follow in Wagler Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 26, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. and will continue at the Produce Building until the time of service.
