Phyllis A. Wolven

Phyllis A. Wolven, age 83, of Washington, passed away at Loogootee Health Care and Rehab at 11:50 a.m. Friday.

 
She was born February 13, 1933 in Montgomery to Fred and May (Hunter)Troutman. She was a 1950 graduate of Montgomery High School. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. She loved reading and playing cards, and was a devoted grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter Debbie (Steve) Neukam of Washington; two sons, Gary (Judy) Wolven and David (Sandy) Wolven both of Washington; nine grandchildren;Darrell Wolven, Nathan Wolven (Elaine), Amanda Wolven, Katelyn Bennett (Mark Steiner), Allison Neukam (Brandon Hooker), Abbie Neukam, Jackie Archer, Tonya Byrd (Danny), Denise Woodall; Sister; Barbara Jean Cline of Washington; eleven great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Donald Wolven whom passed away February 13, 1993. They married July 24, 1953. She is also preceded in death by her parents; son; Larry Wolven; brothers; Billy Troutman, Ronald Troutman and Donald Troutman; and grandson Jeremy Wolven. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Ron Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at 10 – 1 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary.
