Crooks made the comment as one of his lead candidates in local elections has dropped out of the race.
Travis Linneweber is on the ballot from Daviess County Council at Large, however a sudden job offer at DePauw University in Greencastle was a dream job that Linneweber says he couldn’t pass up. He’ll be moving from Daviess County.
Crooks’ has 30 days to find a replacement for Lineweber on the November Democrat ticket.
