Daviess County Arrests

Drug arrests made Monday…..

 

 

 

(DLC Media) -Three people were booked into the Daviess County Security Center early yesterday after a drug investigation by the sheriff’s department.  20-year-old Kole B. Trask, 21-year-old Deron R. Baxter and 21-year-old Ronald C. Reed all of Washington are all charged with dealing in a schedule 2 controlled substance, dealing in a level 2 controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia.  All three have bonded out of jail.

-Washington City Police report they arrested 53-year-old Barry Danford of Washington yesterday.  He was jailed at 4:02pm on a warrant for possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.  The charges stem from a June 23rd traffic stop which later led to a search of his home on East VanTrees where a pound and half of marijuana was found.  The city’s k9 unit was utilized in the investigation.

-A Washington man is facing charges of battery resulting in serious bodily injury and battery by means of a deadly weapon. 25-year-old Wendy St. Cyr was arrested on the warrant and booked into the security center last night. Bond was set at $100,000.

-An investigation by Odon police led to the arrest of 24-year-old Rickey J. Moore of Odon.  He’s charged with theft, receiving stolen property and possession of synthetic cannabis.  No bond was set.

-38-year-old Stephanie S. Cox of Odon was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear yesterday.  Bond was set at $2000.

-Two Washington residents were arrested in Gibson County this past weekend.  After responding to a report of a disturbance at just before 7-pm Friday on I69 at the 33 mile marker, 22 year old Logan Alan Johnson and 27 year old Heather Lea Sullivan were charged with Possession of Meth and Possession of a Scheduled Substance without a prescription. Gibson County authorities say the two were in separate vehicles partially off the interstate.  When police arrived to investigate and talk with the two , the illegal drugs were seen in a vehicle and a search turned up more evidence.
