Washington’s Bicentennial is in full swing

Lots of family friendly activities continue across the city.

 

The City of Washington 10-day Bicentennial Celebration continues this week with many activities for the entire family.  There’s free swimming once again today at WaterWorld of Washington from noon to 8pm, and Free Miniature Golf for kids  12 and under today at Putters Bay in Washington.  Saturday is the Big Bicentennial Parade and Downtown Street Festival on Main Street.  The parade begins at 10am from the Library.  Join WAMW for live coverage of the parade Saturday morning.  The downtown festival will feature over 20 vendors on Main, a Little Miss and Mister pageant at 3pm at the Gazebo, live music, slip and slide for the kids and much more.  For a complete schedule of events log onto the website 200 plus project dot com.
