Chris Gerald Mundy, 44, of Washington, passed away Tuesday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Chris was born Dec. 7, 1971, in Jasper, to Orville and Bernadette (Humbert) Mundy. He married Natalie Alford on Dec. 11, 2015, in Jasper.
Chris was a self-employed construction worker. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, rock ‘n roll, riding his Harley Davidson, spending time with friends and cooking. Chris was a member of the Eagles Club in Washington.
Chris is survived by his wife, Natalie (Alford) Mundy; three daughters, Justice Mundy, Stormi Cole and Lillian Miller; one son, Scott Mundy; seven brothers, Larry (Kathy) Mundy and Joe (Tammy) Mundy, all of Ferdinand, Tom (Jodi) Mundy of Huntingburg, Gary Mundy and partner Jayne Hurst and Kevin Mundy, all of St. Anthony, Patrick Mundy of Dale, Mark (Linda) Mundy and Steve Mundy, all of Birdseye; five sisters, Rebecca Taylor of Evansville, Ruth (Elisha) Sterling of Washington, Mary Mundy and partner William Robinson of Ferdinand, Karen (Mark) Beckman of St. Anthony and Elaine Duncan of Huntingburg.
Chris is preceded in death by both his parents, Orville and Bernadette Mundy.
Friends may call Friday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. in St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery. In death, Chris gave the gift of organ donation with Indiana Organ Procurement Organization.
