US Secretary of Defense coming to Crane

Secretary of Defense, Ash Carter, will visit NSA Crane on Wednesday.

 

The Crane Naval Support Activity is 75 years old this year.  In recognition of the anniversary,  US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter will make a visit to the base on Wednesday.  Carter was invited by US Senator from Indiana, Joe Donnelly.  Donnelly is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. Carter will be the first Secretary of Defense to visit Indiana’s largest military base and the 3rd larges Naval base in the nation.  Donnelly says he’s honored to host Carter while the Crane Commander, Captain JT Elder, says he’s grateful to the Senator for supporting Crane.
