The Daviess County Museum has announced an event coming up on July 2nd billed as a grand opening fundraiser and reception.
The function is called “Adventure Awaits: and will be held from 5 to 7:30-pm with a $25 admission at the door.
In their announcement, the Daviess County Museum says after six months and thousands of volunteer hours, they are excited to welcome back patrons for a special preview evening where guests can seek out treasure in a scavenger hunt of items from the museum’s collection. You can also see demonstrations of the museum’s archiving and preservation process.
Guests are invited and encouraged to attend in their finest historic and vintage clothing to match the museum’s volunteer team.
Again the Daviess County Museum’s “Adventure Awaits” is July 2nd at the museum.
