The 200th baby born in Washington this year at Daviess Community Hospital was born Thursday afternoon.  Kash Ryan Baughn is dubbed the city’s bicentennial baby as part of the city’s 200th birthday this year.  Baugn is the son of Sara Lett of Vincennes.  They were presented with a Bicentennial Onsie at Daviess Community Hospital yesterday by the Mayor and the Bicentennial Committee’s co chairs.  There’s talk of the Bicentennial Baby Boy being part of the Bicentennial Parade later this month.
Any babies born on Nov. 13 later this year on the city’s actual birthday when the first city lot was platted will also be honored, but every baby born during 2016 is getting a special 2016 Bicentennial certificate.   The new baby’s footprint will also be displayed on the DCH Foundation’s Cradle Wall in the OB Department at the hospital when the bicentennial committee makes a donation in his name.
