A tea party and lunch to help little girls learn manners and to raise money for the fair queen scholarship fund….
Preparations continue for the Daviess County Fair coming up later this month and the Daviess County Fair Queen Pageant. Something new this year involving the Queen and potential future queens is a new event called “A Queen’s Tea”.
Kay Stafford explains it’s for younger girls and it is set for tomorrow starting at 10 at the Legend on Troy Road in Washington..
The 20 dollar fee for participants will be used to hopefully increase the scholarship fund for the Daviess County Fair Queen from 500 to $1000. All of the current queen candidates will be at the “tea” helping out.
