Electrical problem determined to the cause of a house fire…

There were no injuries in a house fire in Washington yesterday morning.  Firefighters responded at 7:25-am and were on scene for almost two hours.  Washington Fire Chief Dave Rhoads says a broken electrical wire was the reason for the fire that burned into roof trusses in the attic of the home at 401 Wright Street.  The house is owned by Marie Stone.  Again there were no injuries.  Rhoads reports there was moderate damage.
