Authorities are reminding ATV riders to wear helmets and protective gear after Friday’s fatal accident in Cannelburg in Daviess County. 24-year-old Logan Craney was pronounced dead at the scene after Friday’s 9:40-pm accident. He was riding north on Daviess County Road 1000 East when he hit a deer and was ejected. A news release from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division says alcohol may have been a contributing factor, but the accident is still under investigation.
