Travis Madison’s contract extended to 2020.

Barr Reeve School Superintendent Travis Madison’s contract was extended to June of 2020 in a 2 to 1 vote last night by the three member Barr Reeve School Board.

Board members Lana Helms and Galen Graber voted in favor of the extension.  School Board President Ron Boyd voted against.  The Washington Times Herald quotes Boyd as saying his vote was based solely on the terms in the extension. The other board members he said have voted another way, adding it won’t affect his ability to work with Mr. Madison or the other board members.

Terms of the contract will not start until July 2017.
