k9 Program back at Daviess County’s Sheriff’s Department

Efforts continue to raise some funds for the re-instituted K9 program at the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.

Sherriff Jerry Harbstreit says it had been five years since there’ve been K9’s in his department.  He says after some research he decided to try and raise donations to buy 2 ammals. The goal is 25,000 dollars, and as of about 10 days ago , 23 thousand had already been raised to buy the dogs, names “Storm” and “Focus”.
