Juanita Jane Mott, 77, of Washington, died at 7:23 p.m. Friday at Daviess Community Hospital.
Born Sept. 7, 1938, in Martin County, she was the daughter of John and Flora (Winninger) Milligan.
She was a certified nursing assistant and worked in nursing homes in Daviess County. She was a member of Light House Church in Patton, Illinois.
She is survived by her children, Karen Mott and Scott Carter of Spraytown, Wanda (Terry) Caffee of Scottsburg, Donna (William) Wagner of Allendale, Illinois, Kenny Mott of Washington, and Douglas (Betty) Mott of Washington; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, with two more expected; sisters Burdett Parsons of Washington, Wilma Eller of Oakland City, Vivian Wilson of Washington, and Brenda Bateman of Dover Hill, Ohio; and a brother, Harvey Milligan of Medora.
Her husband, George William Mott, preceded her in death. Two brothers, Ives and Clarence Milligan, and four sisters, Helen Milligan, Ada Mae Milligan, Roanna Milligan and Retha Sons are also deceased.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home, Washington Chapel, with Bro. Joseph Coquillard officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
