Friday stabbing investigation continues


 
 
A Washington man underwent surgery following a Friday stabbing near the Hydrant Bar and Grill in Washington.
Officers were called there just before 5-pm Friday where they found that 21-year-old Jacob Bowling had been involved in an altercation in an alley across from the Hydrant.  He suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.  Police reports say he underwent surgery.  The police news release said he was in serious but stable condition.
The investigation led authorities to 28-year-old Shane Floyd who was found to walking outside a resident in the Cumback area. (South Washington).
Floyd was arrested without incident and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon resulting in serious bodily injury and disorderly conduct.  The investigation continues.
