Indiana’s new Lt. Governor is slated to be in the area today as state and regional offices hold an announcement outlining specifics to advance regional development initiatives.
Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb is scheduled to be part of a panel discussion at the 3-pm event at the Westgate Academy near Odon. Others in the discussion will be Radius Indiana President and CEO Becky Skillman, Grow Indiana Media Ventures President Gerry Dick, IU President Michael McRobbie and Cook Group President Pete Yonkman.
Lily Endowment recently awarded three grants totaling 42 million dollars for organizations to use to advance the Southwest Indiana region in the way of economic and other development.
