Daviess County Surveyor Dennis Helms has officially announced his candidacy for re-election to the office on the Republican Ticket.
Helms has been surveyor for 14 years and is a licensed professional. He co-owns Landmark Surveying Company.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from USI and says he’s well versed in site and subdivision design, storm water runoff design and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.
In his announcement Helms say that Daviess County has been blessed for the last 20 years with elected officials who’ve been dedicated to bringing economic development to he community. He says we are on the brink of what could be unprecedented growth and he’s proud to play an active part in that.
