Four face drug charges in Pike County

 

 

 

The Petersburg Police Department arrested four people earlier this week on drug charges.

According to a Wednesday post on the the Department’s Facebook Page on Monday at 5:08-am, an officer saw several people in two vehicles on the side of the road.  The investigation revealed a significant amount of what appeared to be meth.  The Petersburg Officer, assisted by the Pike County Sheriff’s Department detained the subjects and conducted a search which turned up marijuana, prescription bills and paraphernalia.

Arrested were 19-year-old Makaylah Brumfield of Petersburg, 20-year-old Kyle Dersch, 20-year-old Trenton Besing and 18-year-old Alyssa Norrick all of Oakland City.  All were charged with possession of meth, marijuana, a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
