Joanne Carolyn Miller, 76, of Washington, IN, passed away on February 18, 2016.
She was born on February 7, 1940 in Johnstown, PA to Fred Sr. and Josephine V. (Crawley) Richardson. On July 25, 1960 she married Quintin Frank Miller.
Joanne loved to help and care for others. She was most passionate and very proud of being a Registered Nurse. She retired from Shannon Memorial Hospital in San Angelo, TX. She also enjoyed crafting, crocheting, scrapbooking, and cooking.
Joanne is survived by her children, Melinda D. Parkhurst (William) and Marc D. Miller (Brandie); grandchildren Timothy E. Mowrey, Matthew D. Miller, Malik D. Miller, MyKell D. Miller, MaLeigha D. Miller, MaKeenan D. Miller; siblings Fred Richardson Jr., Janet E. Neiser(Connie C. Davis), Jacqueline G. Richardson, David W. Richardson (Marcia), Kenneth D. Richardson. She is preceded by her husband, parents, and siblings Linda Richardson, and Stanley “Corky” V. Richardson.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00pm Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Gill Funeral Home 308 E. Walnut Street, Washington, IN 47501. There will be no funeral service following.
