Car crashes into Williams Brothers in Washington on Wednesday.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
WILLIAMS BROTHERS ACCIDENT
-A motorist drove through the front door of Williams Brothers Pharmacy in East Washington on Wednesday. Police were dispatched to the scene at 2:14-pm.  Dispatchers tell us that accident reports are still not completed and a damage estimate was not available.  The female driver was checked out by emergency personnel and was found not be seriously injured.  She signed a statement of release.
 
MONDAY CHAIN REACTION CRASH
-Accident reports were completed and released concerning a Monday accident south of the bypass in Washington.  It happened when traffic was congested due to a previous serious accident at the bypass involving a stolen vehicle.   Accident reports say that 29-year-old Stephen E. Nedbert of Valparaiso was driving a 2013 Mustang awnd was stopped in traffic.  32-year-old Joseph Dillon was in an ’07 Toyota behind Nedbert.  25-year-old Virginia Schaffer of Washington approached from behind in an ’09 Escape and hit Dillon’s Toyota.  Dillon had seen the Escape coming from the rear and veered right.  His vehicle ended up in a ditch after impact.  The Escape then hit the Mustang.  The only injury was reported to Dillon who was treated at Daviess Community Hospital for an arm injury
 
MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS
-Washington Police investigated an accident at 50 and 57 Wednesday at 5:15-pm.  There were no injuries.  One driver was cited for an expired plate and the other for having no proof of insurance.
-Police went to Northeast 3rd and Flora at 7:44 last night.  A person had reported their parked vehicle had been sideswiped.  When the officer arrived he discovered there were a total of three parked cars that had sustained damage in the incident. The investigation is continuing.
