Weekend arrest reports

Several jailed in Daviess County in various episodes on Saturday and Sunday

-Emergency personnel were called to a Hefron Street residence just before 7 last night where a man had fallen and was unresponsive.  He was taken to the emergency room at Daviess Community Hospital.  Hospital personnel called police about at 8:50 pm reporting the man, 46-year-old Thomas Petty was becoming unruly.  He was eventually arrested for battery, battery by bodily waste and disorderly conduct.  Bond was set at $2000.

-A police chase early Sunday resulted in an accident and arrest.  Police logs state that city police chased a dark blue Dodge truck north on 57 from the city pool area starting at about 1:32 am Sunday.  The vehicle crashed but the driver fled the scene.   The fire department was called as there were concerns the truck would catch fire.  The driver was later located and taken to the ER complaining of back pain.  Upon his release, 22-year-old Dillion Jacob Baugh of Washington was charged with a felony count of resisting law enforcement, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior, with refusal and with endangerment, reckless driving and reckless possession of paraphernalia. No  bond was set

-Daviess County Deputies were called to an accident at 4:04 on Sunday on Troy Road south of 150-South.  A motorist had reported swerving to miss a deer.  The 2000 Audi went off of the west side of the road and hit an AT&T utility pole breaking it in half. The car came to rest on top of the broken pole.  Upon investigation, the driver, 25-year-old Christopher Searl of Washington was arrested for operating while intoxicated refusal.  Bond was posted.

-Washington police arrested 56-year-old Kathy A. Mider of Washington on Sunday for operating while intoxicated refusal and with endangerment. She’s also charged with public intoxication.  Bond was posted.

-An investigation Saturday led to the arrest of 38-year-old Chanord (correct) Sago of Washington who is charged with battery, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.  Bond was posted.

-A Washington man was arrested by Vincennes Police Saturday night. Officers stopped 34-year-old Derrick Arp at Hart Street & Veterans Drive. He was booked in the Knox County Jail charged with theft and possession of syringes. Indiana State Police assisted in making the arrest.
