Marjorie Theroff

Marjorie Theroff, 93, of Washington passed away on January 5, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born to Herschel and Helen (Edwards) Cornelius on July 24, 1922. She married Thurston Theroff on March 30, 1941. She was was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and also of WSCS Women’s Society of Christian Service.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol and Don Peachee and Judy Strange, all of Washington; a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Glenda Sue Theroff of Washington; grandchildren, Kelly and Ken Grimmett, Becky and Bart Lefler, Marsha and James Pratte, Chad and Jennifer Peachee and Jeff Thompson; stepgrandchildren, Jon and Pam Eaton and Jeanne and John Brummett; eleven great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, her sister Janice Armes, and her brothers; Gordon Cornelius and Dail Cornelius, and Gerry and Sue Cornelius and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thurston, two sisters; Marilou Walker and Jean Skaggs, and one brother Rex Cornelius.
A visitation will be held on Friday January 8, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bethel South United Methodist with a funeral service starting at 1:00 p.m with Pastor Bruce Mowery officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
