A local church is teaming up with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host an event called “A Night to Shine” next month.
More than 100 churches across the US will simultaneously hold what’s described as an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs.
Guests at the Night to Shine to be held Feburary 12th at the Antioch Christian Church east of Washington will enter the prom on a red carpet complete with friendly paparazzi. Once inside the guests receive VIP treatment. There will be a king and queen crowned during the evening as well.
Antioch church officials are currently seeking monetary donations as well as donations of gently used formal wear, in kind services and time.
