Odon man charged with arson

The Indiana State Fire Marshall determined that a Sunday evening fire in Odon was arson.

32-year-old Brendan Dillion has been charged with setting the fire to his own home Sunday.

Daviess County Sheriff  Jerry Harbstreit told the Washington Times Herald his officers went to Odon to talk with Dillon concerning a theft from the Dollar General Store. Missing merchandise and some marijuana were found at the residence at 303 Spring Street.  Dillion is charged with theft, resisting law enforcement and possession of marijuana in connection with that incident.  Firefighters were called to the home just before 6:30 Sunday to fight a fire.  After the investigation into the blaze, Dillion was charged with with two counts of arson.
