INCIDENTS
– Daviess County authorities were called and told a woman was walking down Bixler in Washington screaming at passing people and cars. She had also been seen at the Bakery House doing the same. The woman was picked up by officers and taken to the emergency room for an evaluation. She was then transported to Good Sam in Vincennes.
– Cows were reported out on the road on state Road 57 a mile south of Plainville near Rink’s Curve. The call came in at 10:15 Wednesday. The owner of the livestock was contacted.
– There was a report of mailbox vandalism on 450-south Wednesday. Extra patrol was ordered for the area.
ACCIDENT
A vehicle went off the road on Daviess County Road 700-south yesterday morning. The call came in about 6-am. The vehicle was reported to have rolled over. Fire units called to the scene were able to get an occupant out of the car who eventually ended up at the emergency room. The vehicle had hit a guide wire in the accident and REMC was notified to investigate the matter.
