North Daviess School’s have received a $50,000 grant to be used for school resource officer.
School Superintendent Bob Bell told the school board Monday they’ll work with the county sheriff’s to get an officer for the elementary and high schools. The Washington Times Herald says Bell reported there’s no timeline currently on getting the officers.
It was also reported at Monday’s meeting that enrollment at North Daviess Junior/Senior High is 499 students while the elementary has 466 students.
