Two drivers were taken to hospitals after two jeeps collided on US 50 just east of 900-east at around 11:18-pm last night.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reports that 22-year-old Ryan J. Connor of Loogootee was eastbound in a 2003 Liberty and for an unknown reason he crossed the centerline. His Jeep his a 2010 Wrangler in the front driver’s side. The Wrangler was driven by 18-year-old Megan D. Gainy of Bloomfield who was taken to Daviess Community Hospital. Connor was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene. A fence on the north side of the road was damaged in the accident.
