German American Bank has donated the old People’s Bank building to the Daviess County Economic Development Corporation Foundation.
The Washington Times Herald says that EDC officials are considering options on what to do with the building.
EDC Director Ron Arnold says no firm plans are in place but there has been discussion of moving the EDC and Chamber of Commerce offices there.
The bank will continue to use the building for about the next two years until their new location is finalized on the old Black Buggy Property on State Road 57.
