Memorial planning to open a Washington clinic

Plans have been submitted by Memorial Hospital and Health Care out of Jasper to start the process toward building a new clinic in Washington.

The Washington Times Herald  http://www.washtimesherald.com/  reports that the Washington Building Commissioner’s Office has received the first set of site plans for the project to be located on the south end of the old Black Buggy property on SR 57, near the Indiana Department of Transportation Highway garage.

Plans are for the facility to  feature 8,800 square feet with 14 exam rooms for several doctors and specialists.

Memorial Hospital has had a medical clinic on the Odon-Cannelburg Road north of Cannelburg, since April 2013.

Opening for the new Washington clinic was tentatively slated for May of next year.
