An 18 year old Washington resident as booked into the Davies County Security Center at about 11:45 last night. Washington Police arrested Paul M. Schartzer for possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance. His bond was set at $2000 and bond was posted.
A Washington man was arrested in Gibson County for driving without ever receiving a license. The Gibson County sheriff’s Department reports that they observed a 2005 Dodge Caravan allegedly failing to stay on the road on US 41 in Gibson County at 4:41 local time on Tuesday. After making a stop, the deputy learned that 46-year-old Carlos Dubon Rivas of Washington had never been issued a driver’s license. He was booked into the Gibson County Jail and later posted bond.
