Mary Agnes Mudd, 68, passed away at 4:55 p.m., Thursday at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born in Loogootee on July 2, 1947, to the late William E. Mudd and Dorothy (Holland) Milligan.

Mary graduated from St. John’s High School and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Family, gardening, shopping and reading were her life’s interests. She worked for John O’Brien and Lett and Jones Law Office. She was a retired legal clerk for Farmers Home Administration.

She is survived by her brothers, John (Sharon) Mudd of Jasper, Tom (Jan) Mudd and Dave (Beth) Milligan, both of Loogootee; sisters, Helen (Johnny) Yeadon of Corydon, Sue (Fred) Michaels of Montgomery and Linda (Gayland) Earley of Chandler Texas; and 21 nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, William E. Mudd and Dorothy (Holland) Milligan; stepfather, Charles E. Milligan; and nephew, Patrick Mudd.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. J. Kenneth Walker, celebrant and Rev. Leo Kiesel, con-celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Barr Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home.
