Anyone wanting to vote for the first time, transfer an address, or make a name change to vote in the upcoming municipal elections, needs to get registered by Monday.
Monday October 5th at 4pm is the deadline to register to vote at your county clerk’s office, voter registration office or local BMV. You’ll need a photo ID to be eligible to vote.
November’s elections include city and town election positions across the state.
Early voting for the election will begin next Tuesday October the 6th. You can walk in and vote from Tuesday through noon on Monday November 2nd. The clerk’s office at the Daviess County Courthouse will open on Saturday October 24th and Saturday October 31st for the convenience of voters.
