Carrie “Jane” Strange, 89, of Washington, passed away Monday at 6:40 p.m. at Washington Nursing Center.
She was born March 26, 1926, to Louis A. and Carrie (Hendrickson) Hendrixson in Frichton.
She attended school in Wheatland. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Patty (Larry) Mullen of Washington; two grandsons, Chris Mullen and Aaron (Becky) Mullen, both of Washington; and five grandchildren, Eli, Brylee, Kylee, Charlee Ann and KJ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Strange, whom she married Jan. 15, 1948, on March 22, 1999; three brothers, Arthur W. Hendrickson, Oscar R. Hendrickson and Woodrow W. Hendrickson; and two sisters, Dorothy A. Brown and Catherine E. Hendrickson.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
