Mrs. Wanda Lee Allison, 85, of Washington, IN passed away at 4:22 p.m on September 22, 2015 in Lebanon, IN. Wanda was born in Pike County, IN to William Alvis and Anna Katharine (Stone) Cox on January 4, 1930. She attended Otwell High School. She married Joseph Dean Allison on July 23, 1961. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters; Karen Wire (Tom) of Lebanon, IN, and Teresa Cummings (Bruce) of Bedford, IN, her grandchildren; Nathan Wire, Allison Wire, Tricia Wire, Laura Cummings, Anna Cummings, her sisters; Dorothy Woodall (Daniel) of Petersburg, IN, and Wilma Hardin (Robert), of Otwell, IN and one brother Randal Cox (Violet) of Camby, IN, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Anna Cox, her husband Dean, her sisters; Velma Doades, Lena Catt, Geneva Reed, her brothers; Raymond and Oris Cox, her niece Bernetta Myers, and one nephew Doyle Cox.
Visitation will be from 5-8 on Saturday the 26th at Gill Funeral Home. Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday the 27th, with visitation from 2-3 and services beginning at 3, with Reverend Philip Richardson officiating with burial following at Bethel Cemetery.
