Voter registration for the upcoming November Municipal Elections runs through October 5th. Anyone who needs to register for the first time, transfer and address, or make a name change can do so at the County Clerk’s Office. You can also register or make changes at the local BMV.
A photo ID is required. Voters must be 18 by November 3rd to vote.
Early voting for the November 3rd election will start on Tuesday October 6th and run through noon on November 2nd. You’ll need a photo ID to vote absentee. For questions on registration or voting or having a ballot mailed to you call the clerk’s office at 812-254-8679.
This year’s elections are for cities and towns with several mayoral, city council and town board races across the region.
