Fauntella Cornelius, 100, of Bloomfield formerly of Knox County, passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born August 4, 1915 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Jeremiah and Dolly (Laughlin) Kail.
Fauntella was a homemaker.
Surviving relatives include: three daughters, Karlene Priest (Jarrel Helms) of Bloomfield, Connie Helderman (Jack) of Spencer, and Teresa Jones of Bicknell; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and eleven great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Cornelius in 1972, two daughters, two sons, one great grandson, three brothers, a sister and her parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Plainville cemetery, with Grant Riggins officiating. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Lyons Health and Living Center.
