A Washington man was arrested in Gibson County for having a false government ID and for operating while never licensed.

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Department says the arrest came after a 4-pm traffic stop for speeding on I69 at the 2.5 mile marker.

Authorities say that 29-year-old Jose Miranda Marinda gave them a false international driver’s license.  He later admitted to never getting a license and to buying the fake one he had.  Found in the vehicle was evidence Marinda had other identifies he’d been using in Indiana.

He was booked into the Gibson County Jail at Princeton on $750 bond.
