Clara I. Knepp, 90, passed away at 6:43 p.m. Sunday at her home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Allen County, to the late Joseph and Fannie (Leichty) Miller.
Clara married James Knepp on Aug. 10, 1946, and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Knepp; daughter Ramona Slaubaugh; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; parents Joe and Fannie Miller; brother Amos Miller; sisters Rosa Yoder, Vera Wagler and Mary Short; sons-in-law John Gingerich and Melvin Wittmer.
Clara is survived by her children Ronald (Pauline) Knepp, Macy Wittmer, Anita Gingerich, Kathy (Joe) Wagler, Christina (Jack) Knepp and Melody (Gaylan) Sommers; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother Ray (Loretta) Miller; sisters Mildred Yoder, Alta (Elmer) Swartzentruber, Opal (Joe) Swartzentruber and sister-in-law Mary Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Mennonite Church in Odon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church.
