A Warrick County woman was arrested by State Police in Jasper for drunk driving and neglect charges on Monday.

At just after 1-pm,  Trooper Brock Werne pulled over a vehicle at Dorbett and 9th Street in Jasper for driving across the center line and not having a bumper.  The officer determined that the driver, 39-year-old Alicia K. McDaniel of Tennyson was impaired.  Further investigation revealed she had allegedly smoked meth earlier  in the day.

McDaniel had her 9 year old son with her and CPS was called and took custody of the boy at the scene. Police say McDaniel tested positive for meth and marijuana.

She was taken to the Dubois County Jail charged with two misdemeanor counts of operating while intoxicated and one felony count of neglect of a dependent.
