Dale Graber, 74, passed away July 17. Born Nov. 28, 1940, in Montgomery, he was a son of the late Peter and Rose (Stoll) Graber.

Dale was a man with a strong work ethic, one of which he was proud to pass on to his children. He owned and operated Dale Graber Construction in Indiana, which gave him the means to provide a good life and education for his children while still living a humble life. Dale was a man of integrity and morals and did not believe of speaking poorly of others. He respected all and accepted all, an extrovert that never met a stranger. He would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. A gentleman that led by example. He moved to Bradenton in 2000 and enjoyed living by Manatee Bay, fishing almost every day, gardening and watching sports. Dale was an avid sports fan and devout Indiana University fan. He watched all sports, all year. By far his greatest love was the love he had for family and for his Lord and Savior. Dale touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Dale is survived by his sons, Christopher (Karen) Graber of Mableton, Georgia, and Nelson (Andria) Graber of Fort Wayne; daughter Holly (Doug) Gipson of Fort Wayne; brothers, Gordon, Paul, Richard, Alvis, Mervin and Donald Graber; sisters, Karen Graber, Beverly Yoder, Shirley Yoder, Roselyn Coblentz, Pauline Stoltzfus, Lydia Ann Mullett and Mary Catherine Wagler; grandchildren Nikolia Graber and Avery Graber; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his young brother, Gary.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Providence Mennonite Church, 4738 E. U.S. 50, Montgomery, IN 47558.
