INDOT  are spot paving parts of I69 around Washington today

Around 6-each day crews will be out for about a week.  North and southbound lanes will be restricted to one lane periodically throughout the work day.  There’ll be work zone speed limits in place.

On Monday INDOT says theill will close northbound exit from US 50 to wedge additional pavement, and add stone to reduce erosion.

Throughout the week crews will be working over the East Fork tributary south of Washington, the approaches north and south over the north overflow of the White River, the bridge approaches over Branch Hurrican Creek and South Fork Prarie Creek.

Lane restrictions start today on the US 50 Bridge over Boggs Creek east of Loogootee.  Crews will be doing pavement rehabilitation.  The west bound lane will be closed at first with a temporary signal in the east lane to direct traffic.  After work is completed they’ll closed the east bound lane and pave the west side.  The project starts today and runs through early December.

State Road 241 in Decker is being closed today between 41 and 61 to allow CSX to repair a rail crossing.  Work will take about 5 days.  The detour follows US 41, 50 and 241.

On 41 near Shelburn in Sullivan County crews are working on a railroad crossing on US 41.  The southbound lane will be done first and then they’ll work on the northbound.  Traffic will be restricted to one lane.  That will take about two weeks to complete.
