8th District Indiana Republican Congressman Larry Bucshon  has outlined his opposition to the nuclear deal negotiated by President Obama with Iran.

Bucshon called it a “bad deal” threatening the security of Americans at home and abroad and our allies around the world.

Bucshon says the deal does nothing to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, gives Iran access to 150 billion dollars in frozen assets, and will allow Iran’s regime to deal arms.  He also said that under the deal, Iran doesn’t have to comply with inspection standards that experts agree should be included.

Another reason the deal is not good according to Bucshon is that Iran is the leading state sponsor of terrorism and has cheated on past deals and continues to vow to eliminate Israel…..

Bucshon encourages Hoosiers to review the text of the deal and provide feedback at the Congressman’s website.
