A Washington man was jailed in Gibson County this morning on several charges.

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Department says they received a call from Toyota near Princeton at 3-am central time this morning.

Officials at the plant told authorities that 30-year-old Andrew K. Greenwell had just been terminated and was escorted off the property.

Officers arrived to find Greenwell’s vehicle parked in front of the main doors and Greenwell was standing at the doors.  Officers say they recognized he was under the influence of an unknown substance.  A needle had been found by the roadway. Greenwell was taken to Gibson General Hospital.

Field and hospital tests confirmed he was under the influence of marijuana, methadone and amphetamines.

He’s charged with DUI, unlawful possession of a syringe and trespassing.
