An investigation has landed two Washington residents in jail for the alleged neglect of a 5 week old baby.
Washington Police reports that they were contacted last Thursday (7/16) in regards to an injury to the infant who was being examined at Daviess Community Hospital.
The baby was transferred to Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis for further examination and more injuries were found.
19-year-old Mathew Palmer-Coy was booked into the security center last night and 28-year-old Candis Freeburn was arrested late yesterday afternoon. Both are charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury.
