Flooding is slowing down

The summer floods of 2015 appear to be coming to a close.  Much of

Indiana will remain dry through Friday with little rain expected over

the weekend and early next week.  This will allow the state to dry

out and much of the current river flooding to end by Tuesday…July

28.

The National Weather service reports that …the crest on the White River was very near Petersburg yesterday while the crest on the East Fork White River passed Shoals last night.

The secondary crest on the Wabash River was near Vincennes.  The White River at Hazleton will crest late Wednesday with the Wabash River at Mount Carmel cresting by Friday.
