Weekend police blotter

Washington police investigated a complaint of a vehicle ransacked while parked on East Van Trees Sunday.  The call came in at 4:20-pm.  A box cutter was left behind.

Also on Sunday a bicycle was reported stolen from a garage on Grand Avenue.

At 9:05-pm, Sunday, a caller reported a vehicle damaged by a bat or another object while parked on Old 50.  There was damage to the rear driver’s side.

Police investigated an attempted break in on East Walnut Sunday.

A pickup was damaged when it ran off into a ditch Saturday night.  Accident reports say a motorist was turning from 200 south to 1200 east in Barr Township when 2 wheelers met them head on.  The truck veered into a ditch and the 4 wheelers drove away.  There were no injuries.
