The INDOT Southwest safety team hosted an earthquake workshop yesterday at the sub-district office in Vincennes which featured an earthquake simulator. The simulator allowed employees and the media to feel firsthand what it is like to be in an earthquake. The two hour presentation allowed for crews to understand the importance of their job during an earthquake and to always be prepared for an emergency.

Tiller says the grant has recently been renewed so it will return next year to help more workers be prepared.
He adds tha INDOT is working hard for the public’s safety by collaborating with organizations like First Responders in their earthquake preparedness efforts.
