An accident, a theft and a vehicle fire all happened on Monday

ACCIDENT

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department worked an accident near Cannelburg Monday night.  The call came in at 10:39-pm from a caller on County Road 100-north.

Police logs say one vehicle was involved and it flipped over.  All of the occupants were out of the vehicle when police arrived.  One was reported to have been bleeding from the head.  One person was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital by ambulance.  REMC was called concerning a power pole involved in the crash and would be back on scene today to fix the pole.

 

THEFT REPORT

A caller reported coming home Monday night to find a man taking items from outside their residence.

The call came in at about 9:25-pm from 1500-north.  The property owner made the man put everything back and he drove away in a pickup toward Elnora.  A description of the vehicle was given to authorities.

 

CAR FIRE

No injuries in a car fire at 7 Terrace Park Drive on Monday.  Firemen were called there about 8:30-am. The car was parked under a carport but the fire was contained to the vehicle.
