MONDAY ACCIDENT

 

One driver was injured when two cars collided at Old US 50 and County Road 150 west, west of Washington last night.

At 11:17-pm, accident reports state that 19-year-old Duke Webber was driving a 2000 Grand Prix on 150 approaching the intersection with 50.  He did not see 22-year-old Harpreet Singh of Vincennes in a 99 Cadillac Deville approaching from the west.   The Cadillac hit the Pontiac causing it to spin around and run off of the road.  Webber was taken to Daviess Community Hospital by Southwest Medical for treatment of some injuries.


 

 

SUNDAY ACCIDENT

A passenger fell out of a jeep in the wee hours of the morning Sunday and had to be flown to an Evansville hospital.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reports that 35-year-old Daniel J. Woodall was driving a Jeep Wrangler with the doors removed on County Road 800-east at 12:43-am Sunday.  As he negotiated a turn on 700-south at 15 to 20 miles an hour, a passenger, 31-year-old Derek M. Key of Washington fell out and hit his head.  He was not wearing a seatbelt.  He suffered bruises and cuts to the head and was taken to Daviess Community Hospital and later flown to Deaconess in Evansville.
